16 Days of Activism – a global moment for you to take action

Every year, this global campaign to end violence against women and girls takes place from 25th November to 10th December. Starting on the UN Day to Eliminate Violence Against Women and ending on the UN International Day of Human Rights, it’s a vital moment to show your commitment and support.

Take part in the Kent and Medway 16 Days Campaign:

  • Sign up for our newsletter to be the first to know about this year’s activism.
  • Become a Campaign Partner – join organisations in the fight to end abuse. If your business or organisation can help us to reach a wide range of people, we’d love to hear from you. Email us to become a partner at daprojects@kent.gov.uk

Domestic abuse is never acceptable.

Domestic abuse affected more than two million people across the UK in 2023 and can significantly impact a person’s health and wellbeing; sometimes fatally. Working together, we want to reduce heath inequalities and deliver improved safer outcomes, supporting those suffering from domestic abuse. As the strategic safeguarding lead for health, taking part in this campaign will help to raise awareness and empower staff in the NHS to recognise and respond to domestic abuse.
